Meet your guides in the foyer of the Metropolitan Tokyo Marunouchi hotel, Toyko. We depart Toyko and enjoy a private transfer to the Izu Peninsula, to explore the Hakone region.
We take the Hakone Ropeway, treating you to some of the best views of Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi, and the volcanic Owakudani Valley, offering panoramic views and an unforgettable aerial journey.
You will begin with a brief transfer from the Hakone Ropeway to Kintoki Jinjya Iriguchi, marking the starting point of your 4.6 km ascent up Mt. Kintoki.

Izu Peninsula: 
Renowned as the birthplace of the Kintaro legend, Mt. Kintoki offers one of the most popular hiking routes in the Hakone area, featuring an elevation of 1,212 meters. The summit provides a stunning 360-degree panoramic view that is particularly remarkable. On clear days, the vistas include Sengokuhara, Lake Ashi, and Owakudani’s steam, as well as the Tanzawa Mountains, Miura Peninsula, and Mt. Izu Amagi. These sights encompass a diverse range of peaks within the Fuji-Izu-Hakone UNESCO Global Geopark.

As the day draws to a close, a short transfer will take you to Atami, where you’ll unwind and reflect on the day’s experiences in comfort at the Sekitei Hotel. Opportunities to meet Geishas in Japan are rare, making such encounters a unique and sought-after cultural experience.

Tonight, we will immerse ourselves in the timeless elegance of a Geisha experience organized especially for our group. You’ll enjoy a captivating performance by a Geisha, offering a rare glimpse into Japan’s refined cultural heritage.

After the walk, a short transfer will bring us to our accommodation for the night at the charming Atagawa Ocean Resort, where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploration. This resort is perched along the coastline, offering breathtaking ocean views that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

On this day of your journey, you’ll experience one of Japan’s most iconic walking trails as you trek from the historic Amagi Tunnel to the stunning Joren Falls. After a 50-minute transfer, you’ll begin your 12km walk along the Odoriko Trail, a path steeped in literary history as the setting of the famous novel Izu Dancer. As you walk, you’ll be surrounded by lush forests and serene mountain scenery, capturing the essence of rural Japan. The trail offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural significance, with the highlight being your arrival at the picturesque Joren Falls, where the cascading waters provide a tranquil moment of reflection.

Scenic Walk and Stunning Views of Mount Fuji: 
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a private transfer to Fuji Kawaguchiko, a scenic journey. Once you arrive, you’ll set out on the Panoramadai Viewpoint Walk, a 6km trail that takes around 3 hours to complete. This hike leads you to Mount Panoramadai, a prime vantage point nestled between Lake Shojiko and Lake Motosuko, offering some of the most breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of the iconic peak and the surrounding lakes.
